Providing Spoken Language Interpretation
Empire Interpreting has two options available to our customers when providing
Spoken Language Interpreting.
On-Site Interpretation

During on-site interpretation, an Interpreter is physically present during your communication needs. This form of interpretation is the most preferable and effective means of communication as all parties involved are face-to-face, allowing for clear visual and audible communication.
While this particular service provides a more intimate setting, availability of service fluctuates depending on location and availability of local Interpreters in the requested language.
Telephonic Interpretation

Telephonic Interpretation is performed virtually through use of a phone conferencing system. Our Interpreter will be connected via telephone to you and your Limited English Proficient (LEP) consumer.
Telephonic Interpretation uses technology to our customers and consumers benefit, as your Interpreter can essentially be located thousands of miles away.
This method of interpretation is most commonly used for unplanned encounters, very brief meetings or interpreting requests where a qualified Interpreter in a particular language is not available locally.
Telephonic interpretation may not be the best option for your consumer if a procedure will be taking place or the meeting will be lengthy, in depth and requiring visual items to interpret such as a PowerPoint or paperwork.
Languages Available for Interpretation
Our list of languages available for interpretation is constantly growing. We suggest that you contact us even if you do not see the language you are looking for. It may be a newly added language that we provide or we will begin to recruit that particular language according to your needs.
